At Miall’s Gunshop we offer storage for your firearms, short or long term storage is available. All firearms are safely stored and insured whilst on the premises.
There is no limit as to how many firearms you can store with us at Miall’s as long as you follow the procedures outlined below...
Main reason Mialls offer storage:
- Expired licence
- Moving residence
- Personal reasons
- Deceased estate
Outline:
All firearms must be complete when stored (bolts, magazine and all other parts) if the firearm is incomplete we will not allow your firearm to be stored with us at Miall’s until the firearm is complete.
Please note:
We do not offer temporary holding of firearms to be stored will be acquired to Miall’s and require a permit to acquire.

Before your arrival at miall’s you must organise an appointment directly with us to set up a time to arrange your storage arrangement with Miall’s. You can do this throughout our ‘contact us’ page on our website.
Please note the following:
If someone else is retrieving the original owner's firearms, they must have written consent from the original owner if the owner is unable to be present.
Payment:
There is an original charge of $30.00 for the first month upfront per firearm. Followed with $30.00 per firearm per month via automatic payment.
You will also be charged a one off fee of $15.00 per firearm as a set fee that will not recur after your first visit with us regarding storage setup.
Miall's team will collect your card details to process a transaction fee on the 1st of each month. You will be required to visit the store on the day you begin your storage agreement to make an initial payment of $1 for each day remaining in that month. Starting the following month, a recurring charge of $30.00 will be applied on the 1st of each month.
Your personal details will be only disclosed with Miall’s and kept private for legal reasons.
It is the owners responsibility to provide Miall’s with the most recent and corrected detail of the contact and payment information. If this is incorrect you will be politely asked to complete this information accordingly before proceeding with this process.
Failure to make payments:
If you fail to make payment that where agreed upon previously this may result in the sale of our firearm/s to recover storage costs that you are owning or you will be asked to pay the outstanding balance upfront. Discounts are not available.
